Being a 10 year old (nearly 11) girl and loving football can sometimes be really hard. The worst thing about it is that boys always think they are better than you. But then I think about it and realise that I’m better than some boys in my school. My teacher helps a lot with getting people into football. As well as that I have been to 2 different girls football tournaments with him (and my school) and that really help with playing football because I would be allowed to train more at school.
I play for my village team, the Spartans. I usually play mid-defence. But I might turn into a midfielder.
Many girls love playing football- it’s not just a one gender sport- any gender can do any sport they would like. If that’s their dream then they should be able to follow it, they shouldn't just have to stop it because apparently they are the wrong gender.
